Maoists proven Environmental Activists.

Its Not that I am pro-Maoists/ Naxalites, I strongy condemn the killing of CRPF jawans by Maoists... But My heart is "Eco Friendly" Indian, and i believe if we think for long Term, Maoists are good for the nation and for that matter for the world too...

Wondering How? Just a day before i was going through the forest covers in India. Much of dense forests covers are found in South of West Bengal, Orissa, Chattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh, Eastern Parts of Madhya Pradesh. Incidently or Co-Incidently Maoists activities are also present in this particular region.

Can we say that Maoists have protected these forests from Industrialization? In a way yes; Chattisgarh, Orissa apart from having dense forests, have abundant natural resources. Companies like Arcelor Mittal, Posco and Tatas are always on a look out for enormously big land patches in this region. It is estimated that Orissa alone can attract investment of 6,00,000 crores if there are no land protests and Maoists Insurgencies.

Can these 6,00,000 crores bring back the lost forest covers? No, never.. learning from the mistakes made by developed nations, US and others, the nations invested heavily on Industrialization at the cost of natural resources, now when their survival is at stake they are talking about even large investments on Environment Sustainability and Greening Initiatives. Better say No, then Sorry...

Maoist are biggest threat to political/economic stability, directly; but they are serving in the best interest of nation/ world by protecting green covers, though indirectly...
